At 5 Star Cares, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) who meets the following requirements:
Must be local, may be required to come in the office for a few hours 2x a month
Training done in-house
5 Star Cares is seeking a compassionate and experienced QIDP to join our dedicated team! As a QIDP, you will play a key role in developing and implementing care plans, coordinating services, and advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications
- Must have current QIDP (former QSP/QMRP)
- Must have at least one year experience working in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Must have experience in writing program plans, case notes or other relevant documentation for implementation plans
- MUST BE ORGANIZED WITH GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
- Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
- Must possess INTERMEDIATE computer skills
- Must possess an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field or similar degree
Essential Functions
- Oversees and coordinates the Program Plan of each individual and ensures it aligns with the individual's needs and desires
- Creates positive, collaborative communication with all disciplines and team members
- Ensures that Program Plans and documentation are completed in accordance with all regulatory agencies
- Assists in monitoring and training of staff and relevant parties to ensure accurate, implementation and documentation of training, support and behavior programs as required by the individuals’ plans
Performs all other duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday mostly remote/hybrid part-time no set hours
