Job Summary:
5 Star Homecare is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Mullins, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily tasks, promoting their independence, and providing physical and emotional support. This is a postion that requires a morning shift and evening shift daily with a total of 40 hours.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to clients, including assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments and activities
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate medical professionals
- Create a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of daily care activities
- Communicate effectively with the care team and follow care plans as directed
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a caregiving role, preferably in a healthcare setting, Spinal Cord injury experience, and Hoyer Lyft skills required
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and nurturing personality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
