Job Summary:
The Pediatric Caregiver at 5 Star Homecare will provide compassionate and high-quality care to pediatric patients in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is a part-time, hourly job and will require an individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a Pediatric Caregiver, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to pediatric patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding.
- Monitor and record patient's vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse
- Help create a safe and stimulating environment for pediatric patients
- Engage in activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric patients preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric medical conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
