Job Duties :

  • Conduct field service at customer facilities ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.
  • Specifically working on Straustak machines with an understanding of Numroto software
  • Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite by phone and via email addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.
  • Expect up to 50% travel within the USA Canada and Mexico to support customer needs.

Ideal Candidates :

  • Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery encompassing mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both onsite and remotely including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance mechanical / electrical drawings and part identification.
  • Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.
  • Handson individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical mechanical and other technical drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.

    • Must Have :

    Straustak machine experience (could be an operator) and Numroto software experience. Working / troubleshooting grinding machines

    Nice to Have :

    Experience traveling to customer sites and great customer service skills
