Swiss CNC Applications Engineer

Roles and Responsibilties :

  • Running turnkey projects demonstrations and other customerrelated projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
  • Conducting presale activities and reviews including customer visits evaluation of opportunities machine assessment and recommendations part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal
  • Developing / implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers lathes grinders Swissstyle lathes and / or multitasking machines
  • Conducts training of customers in the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers lathes grinders Swissstyle lathes and / or multitasking machines.
  • Making accurate cost estimates writing engineering reports and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Travel to customers for onsite training and engineering assistance.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing
  • Possessing and maintaining an indepth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company
  • Knowledge of Fanucbased controls and 5axis experience is a plus
  • Experience with CAD / CAM software is preferred but not required.
  • Able to think quickly assess a situation and make a sound decision.

    • Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status :

    US Citizen / Green Card Holder

    MustHaves :

  • Associates degree in a related field is preferred. High School Diploma / GED required
  • We need candidates from machine manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing only
  • Knowledge of Fanucbased controls and 5axis experience is a plus

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with CAD / CAM software is preferred but not required.
