Youth Sports Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, particularly in martial arts, and experience working with students of various ages. This role involves developing athletes' skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.

Duties

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
• Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Provide instruction in various sports disciplines including Karate, Judo, swimming, and other martial arts.
• Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules and regulations during training sessions.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss athlete progress and address any concerns.
• Organize competitions and events to promote engagement and showcase athlete skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe training environment in accordance with health club standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sports coaching or physical education is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of martial arts disciplines such as Karate or Judo is preferred.
• Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is a plus.
• Certification as a lifeguard or swim instructor is advantageous for aquatic training sessions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• A strong commitment to promoting health, fitness, and well-being among participants.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required by training schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
