Overview
The Credit Solutions business sits within Global Financing and Credit Trading (GFCT). The Business has a broad mandate covering:
Trading and underwriting of complex / illiquid credit risk Originating and risk managing of loans against a range of esoteric assets Providing financing to clients via structured repos Participating in Insurance financing Providing investors yield enhancement opportunities via the illiquid flows/structured products it originates or trades
This role will sit within the Liquid Asset Finance (LAF) desk.
LAF Trading’s mandate is twofold: (i) to provide financing solutions and yield optimization strategies to the Deutsche Bank’s clients, and (ii) to source and provide internal funding.

What You’ll Do
Sourcing funding for the Bank via upgrades and repos on both liquid and illiquid bonds and loans
Deploying funding through downgrades, TRS and reverse repos on illiquid assets
Optimizing the collateral/funding mix of Liquid Asset Financing to maximize Profit & Loss and reduce cost of funds
Working closely with the salesforce (Institutional Client Group) to distribute risk and promote the franchise with clients

Knowledge of a Repo trading business and the sourcing & deployment of funding
Detailed knowledge of credit, credit liquidity, credit pricing
Experience of working within a Fixed Income market-making business

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $187.5K to $307.5K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
