The Role of a Ready-Mix Truck Driver
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ready-Mix Truck Driver to join our team at Heidelberg Materials. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete products to customers across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain its optimal condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs to track job progress and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- The ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your work.
Working Environment:
This role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
