What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, forklifts, haul trucks, and other machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Maintain operational data and logs, and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.
What Are We Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant licenses and safety certifications for operating specific types of equipment.
- Competency in operating heavy machinery.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
