Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our operations team at Heidelberg Materials North America.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, ensuring optimal operation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner, using problem-solving skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve maintenance processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment histories.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with experience in maintaining complex equipment.
- Ability to work in environments with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
