What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable position at 50Floor?
50 Floor, Inc. is looking for a full-time (FT) team-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. This role reports to the Accounting Supervisor and supports other staff including the Staff Accountant. The position will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoicing, weekly payment cycles, cutting checks, reconciliation of accounts related to accounts payable, and assisting with month-end close.
Duties:
- High-volume, full-cycle accounts payable processing
- Assemble, review and verify all payment request types
- Three-way match of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
- Data entry of payment requests including payment scheduling
- Process daily adjustments to payments for overpay or charges
- Assist in production of the weekly check runs
- General Ledger (GL) coding
- Maintain vendor files for invoices and record retention
- Correspond with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements
- Assist with vendor W-9 and 1099 tax document compliance
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

Requirements:
- 3 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience required
- 1 years of general ledger (GL) experience strongly desired
- Associates degree or college level coursework in Accounting a plus
- Microsoft Office - specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook a must
- Experience in a small to mid-size, growing company a plus
- Sage Intacct experience preferred
