What We're Looking For...
A dynamic, service-driven Payroll and Benefits Manager. The Payroll and Benefits Manager will lead the execution of the company's benefits and payroll programs. Your primary objective will be administer and facilitate the development and implementation of comprehensive benefits and payroll administration strategies that align with our organizational goals and support our employees' overall well-being. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of benefits administration, payroll processes, compliance regulations, and the ability to provide superior customer service to employees.
What You'll Do...
Administer the company's employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, and other fringe benefits.Identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to ensure competitive offerings and alignment with industry trends.Collaborate with external vendors, brokers, and consultants to negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and resolve benefit-related issues.Manage and effect weekly and biweekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.Collaborate with finance and HR teams to maintain accurate employee records, including compensation data, deductions, and tax information.Address any payroll and benefits related inquiries from employees.Manage government filings, including W-2s, 1095-Cs, 5500s, and other relevant reports.Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits, internal controls, and compliance reviews.Administer company leave programs, including ADA, Workers Compensation, LOA and FMLA; in conjunction and partnership with Human Resources Business Partners, Human Resources Managers, and HR Division Directors.Manage the 50Wellness Program and associated wellness budgets and planning.Act as an Independent Contributing ManagerWhat's Needed to Succeed...
In-depth understanding of payroll processes, taxes, and payroll software systems.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external partners.What's Required...
