As the Manager, you’ll provide direction and leadership to a team of Operating Effectiveness Professionals focused on supporting Claims business implementation/change requests, product/strategy roadmap, as well as driving improvement initiatives, through project identification/support, business case development, project management and benefit/result realization.
What you’ll do:
Drive the development and ongoing maturation of the Claim Systems Business Solutions team, defining roles, responsibilities and best practices for team
Define and maintain a project structure for the Operating Effectiveness team to lead projects with detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports
Coach, mentor and develop a team of Operating Effectiveness Professionals, ensuring proficiency in application of continuous improvement and change request facilitation, using project management tools and methodologies suited for the project
Establish regular follow-up and reporting processes to revise and communicate the implementation status and achievement of results
Apply effective controls, ensuring that process improvements, established tools and processes are applied and sustained
You’ll ensure core principles of employee engagement, waste elimination, continuous improvement and member, provider and client experience are realized while continuously aligning to the overall claim strategy.
Work closely with internal and external clients seeking enhancements to our product, processes or programs that will affect claim operations and claim systems, ensuring quality and timely execution
Work with the Product and Planning team during PI Planning for work prioritization sponsorship and delivery optimization
Drive the on-going identification and execution of continuous improvement opportunities to improve quality, service, cost to process, productivity, and throughput capacity for claims systems supporting claim products and services
Provide leadership and guidance to cultivate participation and buy in from all levels of leadership to ensure successful implementation of improved or newly developed processes
Allocate the necessary resources (people, investment) to guide the implementation and change process using a multifunctional approach
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree, a plus
8 years of experience in the development and execution of advanced, complex process engineering/continuous improvement initiatives
Experience with Agile Methodology, PMI Certification, Change Management or Six Sigma training preferred
5 years of Program and/or Project Management experience
Experience with agile, project management, and documentation of business processes and software/business requirements over several years, preferred
Experience in medical claims systems operations, a plus
Expertise in developing strategy/vision and leading a team of Operating Effectiveness professionals from multiple disciplines while being flexible in approach while driving a vision for continuous improvement
Adept in Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Corrective Action, Kaizen, A3, Standard Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, DMAIC etc
Proficient with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as a demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in often-ambiguous situations to solve complex problems and improve quality and client experience
Advanced PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, Confluence, and Smartsheet
Highly organized, attentive to detail and independently motivated to navigate change, and efficiently manage multiple deadlines in a fast -paced environment
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills, with the ability to communicate a clear vision to senior leaders
Ability to travel as needed for periodic on-site meetings
***This role has a hybrid designation. If hired near a location where there is no eviCore office, your designation will be remote on an interim basis, Office Aligned No Seat Assigned***
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 97,700 - 162,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
