Coating Technician – Manufacturing (Not a Painter Role)

This is a critical role in a cleanroom environment, and we are looking for candidates with a strong electronics or manufacturing background in coating, not painters. Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate coating machinery in a controlled cleanroom environment, applying coatings to components with precision.
- Inspect and measure substrates before and after coating to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
- Capture photographic records of parts before and after coating to maintain accurate process documentation.
- Enter data into various computer systems to track coating results and quality metrics.
- Prepare and package parts for coating and ensure the finished product is properly handled and stored.
- Load parts into fixtures and place fixtures into coating machines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, fixtures, and tooling to ensure proper operation.
- Safely handle hazardous chemicals as required for the coating process.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a coating, electronics, or mechanical environment (this is not a painter or decorative coating position).
- Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform basic maintenance on machinery and tools.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy parts into fixtures or machines as part of the coating process.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods (8-10 hours per shift).
Skills & Requirements:
- High attention to detail and ability to follow precise quality control procedures.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn proprietary software for data entry and tracking.
- Strong understanding of electronics or manufacturing processes related to coating, not a decorative painting background.
