Machine Operator – Metal Fabrication
Location: Aurora
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (occasional overtime may be required)

What You’ll Do:
- Fabricate Metal Components: Assemble aluminum and steel parts based on engineering drawings.
- Operate Equipment Safely and Efficiently:
- Band Saws
- Chop Saws
- CNC Turret
- Metal Brake
- Spot Welder
- CNC Milling Machine
- Ensure Precision: Measure and evaluate parts using calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep machines in top condition to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Promote 5-S Principles: Support workplace organization and continuous improvement in the fabrication shop.
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in math (fractions, decimals, multiplication).
- High attention to detail to follow assembly drawings and identify part numbers.
- Experience with hand-eye coordination to handle tools and machinery effectively.
- Team Spirit: A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Professionalism: Personal effectiveness, credibility, and ethical conduct are essential.
Work Environment:
- Work in a metal fabrication shop where safety is a top priority.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and shoes.
Physical Demands:
- Stand for the majority of your shift.
- Use hands and fingers to operate tools and machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
