About the Role:
As Controller, you’ll oversee all accounting and financial functions, working closely with ownership and project teams. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle construction accounting, managing internal controls, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic planning.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations
- Manage job cost accounting, WIP schedules, AP/AR, and payroll
- Coordinate with project managers on budgets and cost tracking
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Lead audits, banking relationships, and financial forecasting
- Implement and maintain internal controls and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of job cost accounting and project financials
- Proficiency with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or similar)
- Ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- CPA or degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
