Award winning architecture and design firm in Coral Gables focused on branding, innovation, and experiential design is currently seeking a Project Architect To join their growing studio. In partnership with the Project Manager and Project Designer, this role is accountable for project financial performance and team communication. The Project Architect is responsible for the issuance and content of deliverables, technical content of documents and coordination of disciplines including consultants and for the supervision of all staff producing documents. Their primary responsibility for the implementation of Construction Phase Services in collaboration with the PM. The incumbent is responsible for securing QA reviews and the implementation of comments. This position requires the incumbent to be a licensed architect and is responsible for signing/sealing drawings. This role needs to participate in and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Advanced knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
- Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems and Construction Administration processes.
- Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
- Advanced knowledge of QA/QC process, building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Modeling software such as Sketchup, Rhino and Grasshopper and Affinity software suite preferred.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work and lead in team environments and effectively meet deadlines.
