VP of Acquisitions

The Vice President of Acquisitions principally focuses on nationwide sourcing and execution real estate deals with a focus on Rehab Centers, Behavioral Healthcare facilities, medical office, and senior living properties.

Responsibilities:

• Source acquisition opportunities through marketed and off-market channels in the behavioral healthcare, rehab facilities and senior living spaces.
• Frequently travel to conduct property tours and attend conferences regionally and nationally.
• Oversee owners’ representation of entire project lifecycle
• Interfacing with capital markets team to ensure optimal financing solution
• Prepare and present investment memos with recommendations and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with strategic heads for market knowledge and property underwriting assumptions and to develop strategic business plans for acquisitions under consideration.
• Assist with coordination of the due diligence and closing processes.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10-15 years of commercial real estate acquisitions experience with healthcare, medical office, or senior living
• Experience working as an owners’ representative
• Strong sourcing skills and brokerage relationships
• Thorough understanding of debt and equity capital markets.
• Ability to deliver work in a timely and accurate manner, meeting deadlines and allowing time for next level review.
• Ability to collaborate and exchange ideas within the department and throughout the company.
• Ability to prioritize time between multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Excellent organizational, research, verbal, and written communication skills.
