Location BBC Bronson Battle Creek Title Audiologist Bronson Constance Brown Hearing Center Part-Time *** $5000.00 Sign on Bonus Available*** Benefits and Incentives Day 1 benefits, competitive pay, advancement opportunities and more! **Sign-on Bonus: Full-time - $10,000, Part-time - $5000 The audiologist at Bronson Constance Brown Hearing Centers is a staff audiologist position that reports to the Director of Practice Operation – Surgery CPC. The job requires sound understanding of accepted standard audiology procedures and functional knowledge of required computer software, internet navigation, and data entry. Other activities include generating reports and telephone usage. This is a full or part time salaried position eligible for benefits. Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree in Audiology (for those earning a degree prior to 2007) or a Doctorate Degree in Audiology Audiology license from the State of Michigan Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word Customer service Internet navigation skills Key Responsibilities: Adheres to all privacy and security rules (HIPAA) Responsible for selection, provision, and interpretation of appropriate audiological tests to evaluate and describe the hearing of assigned patients of all ages, in clinic and industrial settings Responsible for maintenance and quality of records related to patients of all ages Responsible for timely outgoing correspondence and/or reports relative to assigned patients Responsible for outlining, designing, and assuring that assigned patients receive appropriate programs of amplification orientation and/or rehabilitation according to individual records Conducts hearing aid evaluation and/or consultation Determines the need for referral for appropriate language and/or speech pathology services to meet the patient’s communicative needs Determines need for medical referral or medical clearance for hearing aids Provides consultative services to parents, family members, and teachers Provides and interprets Otoacoustic Emission Testing (OAE) and Unsedated Auditory Evoked Potential Services Shares responsibility for ensuring that high standards of professional services are maintained Works in close cooperation and harmony with fellow employees to ensure smooth delivery of patient care Actively participates in provider panel meetings Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Will follow established policies and procedures (ie: insurance, intake and outtake procedures) Remains updated on state of the art technology, keeping our Center as the leader in our geographic area Shift Time Type Part time Scheduled Weekly Hours 20 Cost Center 8124 Bronson Constance Brown Hearing Centers (BBC) Agency Use Policy and Agency Submittal Disclaimer Bronson Healthcare Group and its affiliates (“Bronson”) strictly prohibit the acceptance of unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third-party recruiting agencies ("Recruiters") in response to job postings or word of mouth.
