Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Clean and sanitize bar area, including utensils and equipment
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies and restock as needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of catering and food service industry practices
- Strong sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Proficient in using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to process orders and payments
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide a positive customer experience
