Position Overview

The Sr. Advisor, Evernorth Enterprise Sales is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth and meeting sales quotas across Evernorth's portfolio of services, including navigation/advocacy, behavioral health, and oncology solutions. This role is dedicated to cultivating new business opportunities for Evernorth Care Solutions by helping commercial / employer clients choose the solutions that best suit their needs and those of their employes.

This role is designed for a driven sales professional with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management. If you are passionate about sales and have a proven track record of success, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Focus on new sales - prospect pursuit through hunting and/or RFP through finalist stages to define and execute a cohesive, winning sales strategy.
  • Client Acquisition: Implement a prospect/market penetration strategy that drives new sales execution to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Market Understanding: Develop client-specific strategies based on a broad knowledge of Evernorth Solutions and an understanding of the market landscape.
  • Channel Relationships: Cultivate and leverage channel relationships to overcome barriers and work closely with product owners and innovators to drive client decisions.
  • Executive Sponsorship: Serve as an Executive sponsor with client decision-makers from the C-Suite and executive healthcare leaders to assess their needs and provide relevant products and services.
  • C-Suite Relationships: Develop strong relationships with C-suite, SVP, Vice President, and Total Rewards leaders across targeted clients, including CEOs, CFOs, and other top medical and pharmacy leaders.
  • Sales Strategy: Execute deal-specific selling strategies and buyer engagement plans to accelerate the client’s buying journey.
  • Competitive Analysis: Demonstrate an effective understanding of competitive actions in the assigned territory and develop plans to address problem areas.
  • Lead Generation: Contribute to sales team goal attainment through lead generation, product penetration, and other sales achievements.
  • Pricing Strategy: Partner with pricing teams to deliver competitive offerings at the right price to market to achieve goals.
  • Communication: Communicate directly with prospects, brokers, consultants, and coalitions, playing a significant role in the communication process and answering external questions.
  • Internal Partnership: Partner with internal account teams to work with specific national accounts to drive upsell targets.

Essential Functions

  • Client Strategies: Build appropriate client-specific strategies and execute deal-specific selling strategies.
  • Sales Expertise: Develop broad expertise in Evernorth solutions to support client and channel partner questions and overcome barriers in the sales process.
  • Revenue Management: Manage revenue and margin targets and identify top prospecting opportunities.
  • Sales Execution: Develop and implement tactics outlined in work and account profile and pipeline plans for new business, organic growth, retention strategies, proposal response, and pricing content development.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in regular team meetings and training for account team regions or CSTs to stay integrated with new sales processes and education.

Position Success Criteria

  • Establishing oneself as a trusted sales partner to the business unit account / product and being relied upon for partnership to expand business relationships .
  • Expanding the business footprint with new products and services in a material and profitable manner.
  • Meeting or exceeding annual growth and profitability targets.
  • This role will require up to 25% travel
