Food Runner/Busser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner / Busser to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events, ensuring all food service areas are clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Help maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food handling guidelines are followed.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen team.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable, particularly in a hotel or banquet setting.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and customer service best practices is essential.
• Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with both guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
