Key Responsibilities:
- Implement patient care plans for rehabilitation under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Provide compassionate support to patients, assisting them with tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervisors and other team members.
- Document patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA program from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA or equivalent in the states where services are rendered.
- CPR certification (when required).
