As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Kindred Hospital - Riverside, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities following an injury or illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine each patient's unique needs
- Develop personalized therapy programs to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Document patient care in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology granted by ASHA or eligibility
- Minimum six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations
- Current and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
- Strong organizational and communication skills
