Experienced Waitress

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and effective communication.

We use the Toast point of sale system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast system or other order management tools.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Buss tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas throughout service.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
• Perform basic math calculations for order totals and process payments accurately.
• Uphold health and safety regulations by sanitizing work areas and adhering to restaurant policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
• A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about food pairings and menu offerings.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
