We are seeking a highly vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of individuals and assets through proactive security measures. This position is an excellent position for someone seeking part time employment on weekends. The shifts available are as follows:
Fridays: 5:00-10:30 PM
Saturdays and Sundays: Fill in as needed on day shifts and evening shifts.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure all activities are recorded and monitored.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is required.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
