We are seeking an Associate Principal Scientist Lab Operations to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Ithaca, NY.

Job Overview: Responsible for providing technical leadership for local and global laboratory operations, including identifying and driving continuous process improvement and new study initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide technical leadership to lab staff and cross-functionally in the area of expertise.
- Preferred candidate has experience in LCMS, Systems Validation, and Metrology
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and implement resolutions.
- Oversee method transfer between global and cross-functional labs.
- Lead complex cross-functional lab initiatives and projects to drive opportunities for process and operational efficiencies.
- Lead training initiatives to support continuous learning and development of lab staff.
- Harmonize global operational processes, as applicable.
- Support the identification and evaluation process for instrumentation platforms.
- Evaluate cost considerations of new technologies and testing.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a BSc in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology.)
- Typically requires >8 years of prior experience in a relevant discipline.
8 years experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Technical expertise across all methods within the scope of the assigned technical area/department.
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed for this role:
- Strong knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in the job area.
- Basic knowledge of requirements under relevant regulatory standards for the assigned work area.
- Expertise in laboratory techniques.
- Ability to process and apply complex information from various topics.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $92,700.00 - $154,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Salary : $92,700 - $154,500
