Job Summary:
The Laboratory Operations Associate is responsible for assisting with various routine activities related to the receipt and processing of clinical specimens.
What you’ll be doing:
Assisting with the receipt and quality check of consignments and shipments.
Opening shipments and verifying patient information forms; escalating issues to senior staff when needed.
Conducting secondary checks to ensure no specimens are left in kit packaging.
Managing correct disposal or recycling of kit shipping supplies.
Supporting and responding to after-hour alarms and other critical job functions.
Assisting with equipment maintenance and supply inventory functions.
Ensuring a clean and organized workstation as requested by management.
Following safety procedures and adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
What We Are Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and workflow.
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work requirements (computer, typing, reading small prints). Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Adaptability and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Salary : $33,600 - $56,000
