Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage workflow in the team to meet cost budgets and schedule deadlines.
- Maintaining appropriate staffing levels that commensurate with dynamic workloads. Coordinate drafting needs with engineering managers, project engineers and programs managers.
- Establishing and maintaining standards and procedures for generation of models and associated drawings
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proper data configuration control, managing CAD Software configuration.
- Develop drafting and design processes and continuous improvement processes.
- Plan and manage employee training and development, and employee performance evaluation.
- Maintain CAD/CAM document archive and retrieval for projects.
- Customize of CAD/CAM programs
- Develop and collect metrics to support cost estimating for future work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or 10 years of related experience.
- A minimum of 5 years as machinist experience is required.
