5th Axis is currently seeking a motivated Sales Manager for our Eastcoast region to join our team! As the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for sales results in our Eastern Region and leads a network of independent sales representatives to achieve sales results. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth across the designated region by recruiting, mentoring, and managing independent sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, strategic planning, sales execution and relationship building, with a strong focus on developing high-performing sales teams supporting a variety of sales channels.
What You Will Do:
  • Develop and train sales representatives and distributors in assigned territory.
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handle discipline and corrective action of team members as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Execute the company’s strategic plan to optimize the independent sales representative network.
  • Identify and recruit top-performing independent sales representatives to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and sales targets, providing ongoing coaching and support to meet and exceed goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define regional sales objectives and align them with overall company goals.
  • Analyze regional market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies effectively.
  • Execute localized marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns in partnership with sales representatives.
  • Mentor, train, and empower independent sales representatives to ensure a high level of performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and best practice workshops to continuously elevate the team's sales effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the region.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues, ensuring swift resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the customer service and product teams to relay field insights and drive continuous improvement in offerings.
  • Monitor and analyze regional sales performance, preparing regular reports on progress against targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence and performance metrics.
Do you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; OR
  • Extensive experience as sales manager required.
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
  • Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
