We are seeking a dedicated Production/Warehouse Manager to lead and manage our Warehouse team at our San DIego location. As a Production/Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department’s workflow, including maintaining cleanliness and organization, ensuring accuracy in Epicor data entry, and ensuring timely assembly, packaging, and shipment of sales orders.
What You Will Do:

As a Production/Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department’s workflow, including maintaining cleanliness and organization, ensuring accuracy in Epicor data entry, and ensuring timely assembly, packaging, and shipment of sales orders.
What You Will Do:
- Recruits, interviews, hires and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Ensures that employees keep their work areas clean and organized.
- Verifies that all data entered into Epicor is correct, (labor, non-conformances, inventory quantities and inventory locations.
- Ensures employees completes their tasks assigned for the day.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure all sales orders are timely assembled, packaged and shipped to meet customer expectations.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in shift operations, ensuring shipping deadlines are met.
- Informs production planning department, relevant management, and other stakeholders of delays.
- Collaborates with department managers and supervisors to coordinate production and day-to-day activities in and among departments.
- Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data to create a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitors and maintains stock levels
- Receives and inspects WIP and Inventory from the other buildings
- Reviews work queues and priorities, ensures that staff have everything they need to complete their tasks
- Collaborates with production/planning/scheduling teams to mitigate low stock and backorder
- Receiving components into Epicor from production jobs.
- Closing production jobs after product is received: communicating with quality control when inspections have not been closed & communicating with material handlers and/or planners when material has not been issued.
- Receive assembly components from completed assembly jobs.
- Ensures that WIP and inventory are correct in Epicor.
- Maintain backorder lead times in Epicor for the customer service team. Update these lead times as production delays happen so the customers can be updated.
- Monitor RMA repairs based on requirements by Customer Service & QC Department.
Do You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, business or related field, or equivalent industry work experience and education.
- Minimum of five years of production and supervisory experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience using Epicor software.
- Excellent team management and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
