We are seeking a Truck Driver to join our team at a wholesale nursery. This role involves driving a box truck for local deliveries and ensuring timely, safe transportation of our products. No prior experience is required, but candidates must be self-driven, responsible, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a box truck for local deliveries to customers
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of plants and nursery products
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and traffic regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Qualifications:
- Experience driving a box truck (preferred, but not required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy products as needed
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
