Job Description:
The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will have accountability and responsibility for all aspects of the maintenance and care of the buildings and properties owned and operated by the company. This position will directly oversee the departments of maintenance, guest services (janitorial), landscaping and security. The routine schedule will likely be Sunday-Thursday.
The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of, and the ability to manage:
- Staff and projects
- Property Management and Operation methods
- Mechanical systems
- General and Preventative property maintenance
- Landscaping projects
- Building inspections
- Facility repairs and troubleshooting routines
- Safety practices in compliance with OSHA standards
- Commercial tenant relations
- Public interactions and ensuring public safety
- Contract services to include elevator operations and fire alarm inspections
- Contractors and vendors
The position requires a comprehensive understanding of property management methods, property operations, building inspections, responsive to tenant needs, interacting with the public and increasing profitability through appropriate building and property operations, preventative maintenance, and repair. This position is responsible for preparing operational reports, scheduling, and assigning required work.

Required Education:
· High school or equivalent
Work Environment
· This position operates outdoors on property grounds and inside professional office and retail environments. This role requires the employee to be on-site to perform job duties.
· The position will be required to be available after hours and on weekends.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs, scaffolds, ladders, and maneuver walkways in/around building structures, landscaping, and signage.
- Must have the ability to read and comprehend information, speak, hear, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. independently.
- To perform other duties as required.
