HOSPITALITY MARKETING COORDINATOR
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person who is willing to work hard and grow with the company. The role of Hospitality Marketing Coordinator serves the marketing team in the day-to-day execution of marketing strategy on behalf of the Obie Hospitality portfolio of hotels. This role will focus on social media management, email marketing, content creation, and CRM management to drive guest engagement and bookings. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for hospitality, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Help develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, organize and report on results.
- Develop and execute email campaigns, newsletters, and promotions to drive bookings and guest engagement.
- Manage and segment customer databases to personalize marketing efforts.
- Track email performance, analyze key metrics, and recommend improvements.
- Build and execute the data-backed email communication strategy for all properties.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to assist in the development of marketing strategies.
- Monitor and engage with social followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Analyze social media performance and optimize content strategy based on insights
- Support on-property activations and guest experience initiatives.
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
- Update website content, blog posts and landing pages.
- Partner and collaborate with the VP of Marketing in the management of strategic initiatives including, but not limited to, brand management, persona research, operational execution of guest experiences and vendor relations.
- Stay current with market research, techniques, and job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Monitor and report on key marketing metrics, including engagement, conversion rates, and campaign ROI
- Plan and execute on-site activations with community partners.
- Ensure all guest-facing outlets, such as proprietary website, compendiums, collateral pieces, and communication outlets are up to date with current, relevant information.
- Coordinate on-site photo & video shoots and influencer activations.
- Willing to perform other duties as assigned within the department or organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, digital content, or hospitality marketing.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools (Meta Business suite, Loomly, etc)
- Strong organization and reporting skills.
- Exemplary ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function successfully in a team environment as well as thrive independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public, partners, and all levels of staff.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Suite preferred)
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations is preferred but not required.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite.
- Read, write and speak English fluently.
- Possess college-level math skills.
- Experience with task management systems (ClickUp) and CRM systems (Mailchimp, Cendyn) preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred, but not required.
- Will never pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.
