We are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Raleigh, NC . This high-impact role is ideal for a seasoned electrical engineer with expertise in analog / digital hardware design, PCB development, and power supply design —particularly within the medical device industry .
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop analog and digital hardware systems .
Perform PCB design, review, and validation .
Develop and optimize power supply designs for medical devices.
Conduct root cause analysis and debugging for complex electrical systems.
Lead value engineering initiatives to improve product performance and cost efficiency.
Optimize BOM selection and component sourcing for reliability and scalability.
Work on high-speed design for next-generation medical technology.
Drive prototype development, first article inspection, and validation .
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
6 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
Strong expertise in analog / digital circuit design and troubleshooting .
Proficiency in schematic capture tools and engineering software .
Solid problem-solving and debugging skills for electrical components.
Experience in the medical device industry and familiarity with FDA regulations is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
