Purchasing & Inventory Manager

The Purchasing & Inventory Manager acquires cannabis products and manages the inventory to meet the needs of the business. The main duties include locating key suppliers, negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements, and making sure their materials and products meet the company’s specifications.
Responsibilities:
· Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and data entry to ensure timely payments to the wholesale vendors
· Explore new revenue streams for the company
· Surmount a tumultuous industry by retaining customers and realizing exponential sales growth by creating realistic customer expectations.
· Evolve the 6 Brick’s menu to ensure exclusivity, diversity of products, and competitive pricing while maintaining keystones.
· Review monthly data to adjust the menu and COGS spend
· Negotiating deals with suppliers to ensure that the purchased products are up to the company's quality standards and are acquired at the best possible prices.
· Analyze market trends, identify potential vendors, and devise plans to increase the company's sales and market share.
Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years of age
· Must pass all state-required background checks.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· 1-3 yr. previous supervisor experience preferred
· Cannabis industry experience preferred
· Strong understanding of state/local regulatory guidance and policy (Ability to interface w/ CCC if necessary)
· Proficient in adopting new software and ever-evolving technologies.
· Strong knowledge of standard office applications and software. (Office365)
Education and Prior Experience
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
- High School Diploma or GED
