Part Time Front Counter / Prep Person

6 Pack House of Beer located at 847 Pittsburgh Ave in Erie, PA

We are a specialty beer store with an open kitchen environment and seating for 60in our restaurant. We offer awesome pizza, wings, apps, burgers, big salads and the best subs in town!

We are looking for a Part time Front Counter /Prep Person (25hours/week) with the following requirements:

-Must be a Min of 25 years of age

- Happy & Good attitude, stellar work ethics and time management skills

- 2 years experience working in the food/bar industry, with a cash register and POS system
- Strong attention to detail and able to follow directions

- Due to our OPEN environment, we require proper personal hygiene and clean appearance while at work

- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Must be able to handle pressure during busy times while maintaining a good attitude

Responsibilities:

-Taking food orders and ringing up customers on a point of sale cash register

-Pouring draft beers

-Money handling/Counting the cash drawers each morning

-Cleaning & Maintaining the front dining room area, behind the counter and bathrooms

-Washing dishes

-Wiping down tables

- Restocking the front counter items (chip, water cups, paper goods, wrapping silverware)
- Food Prep/portion control. This position has some food prepping included as well.

-Restocking the pop coolers

- Ability to carry a tray of food to our customer's table
- Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth operations & correct food orders
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

-Interacting with guest/customers

If hired, all employees are requires to take an online RAMP certification class.

SHIFTS: 3/4 days a week 10am -4pm

$11/hour to start Tips after 30 day training period is completed
