The FedEx Corporation Transactions, Benefits & Employee Relations Legal team provides legal support for FedEx operations throughout the world focusing on technology transactions, sales contracting, marketing, intellectual property, communications and employment law. These groups provide internal support to the various business units, engage in complex negotiations with vendors and customers, and work closely with our business partners to further FedEx’s business interests.
Under the supervision of a FedEx attorney, the extern will gain experience in various practice areas within the group. The extern will conduct research, participate in contract negotiation and drafting, and assist with other legal matters as assigned.
This is an unpaid assignment at FedEx Corporation. The extern must successfully complete the pre-employment process (background check and drug screen) prior to start of the assignment.
Minimum Qualifications:
This is a temporary assignment for students actively pursuing a college degree. Under direct supervision, performs duties as assigned.
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university seeking a Juris Doctor. Must provide proof of enrollment and active attendance, and possess exceptional communication, organizational and writing skills.
