We’re looking for people to join our Brisbane team where you’ll work to develop & maintain networks within the Brisbane market with people looking to find their next job. 

This is not a client-facing sales or business development position, but rather a position for people who want to work purely with candidates looking for a new position. 

Of course, as time goes on you might want to transition into a client facing, more Business Development focused position, and if that’s the case, then we’ll support you with your decision.  After all, we’re looking for people who want a long-term opportunity rather than a quick fix.

In this position you’ll be responsible for engaging with active job seekers as well as cultivating relationships with a passive network.  You’ll work on a desk where you’ll partner with experienced Consultants to provide them with the best people for the job.  This is a crucial position and one where you’ll work together with our client facing Consultants, not for them.  We’re huge believers in working with a collaborative mindset and that your internal brand is equally as important as your external one.

To deliver effectively you’ll conduct interviews either face-to-face or over video, take references, post job adverts, generate leads regarding activity in the market; and potentially attend job pick-up meetings with your client-facing colleagues; as well as providing expert, consultative advice to job seekers that you’re working with.

You’ll be working on a busy desk from day one, however that doesn’t mean we expect to you to make placements straight away.  In fact, the first few weeks will be heavily focused on training which will lay the groundwork for future success.  Training starts the minute you join us, and it’s on-going throughout your career us.

We’re a big believer that you can drive your career forward from wherever you sit within our business.  Some of our staff operate in Management positions purely with a focus on working with people looking for jobs, whereas some take the opportunity to step into a more client facing role.  How you progress is up to you, and something we’ll support you on.  We like to promote from within which means your next role is still very likely to still be with us.
