What You'll Do:
- Process, analyze, interpret, and edit ECG cardiac data for clinical accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and communicate ECG abnormalities that meet notification criteria.
- Perform preemptive and retroactive quality reviews on ECG Reports generated by internal clinical staff to ensure adherence to department quality and reporting standards.
- Communicate findings to management for investigation and corrective action when significant oversights in ECG reporting are found.
- If established notification criteria were met but not completed during report generation and review processes, advise and ensure notification criteria are followed immediately.
- Follow established department procedures for quality assurance practices.
- Working overtime as needed to maintain workflow objectives and ensure the quality and timeliness of ECG reporting.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Advanced ECG rhythm knowledge and competency in interpreting cardiac arrhythmias.
- 2 years of experience in the Electrophysiology Field.
- Excellent PC proficiency level.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, specific to Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
- Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements including but not limited to a CRAT or CCT certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base hourly/salary range of $68,000 - 85,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/ experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/ office location.
