Job Description:
As an Erosion Control Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing erosion control measures to prevent soil degradation and water pollution on construction sites. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure that erosion control measures are implemented effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hydroseeding
- Develop erosion control plans in accordance with local regulations
- Install erosion control devices such as silt fences, rock berms, and erosion blankets
- Monitor and maintain erosion control measures throughout the duration of construction projects
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with erosion control requirements
- Communicate effectively with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in erosion control or related field
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
