LSIT Job Description
Overview:
Join our team as a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) and contribute to exciting projects in the field of land surveying. As an LSIT, you will play a crucial role in data collection, analysis, and mapping to support various engineering projects primarily in the oil and gas industry. Education/Qualifications:
· Surveyor in Training certification
· Bachelor’s degree
· Proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to fully draft final drawings, including boundary calculations, adjustments, line work, surfaces, and notes

- Results-oriented with attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively, verbal, and written communication
Experience:
- Proficient in deed interpretation and analysis. Able to communicate with clients, attorneys, and title companies.
- Experience with ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys.
- Experience with jurisdictional processes and requirements of plats, short plats, and boundary line adjustments.
- Experience with Trimble GPS post-processing adjustments
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Prepare land surveys, reports, and other project documents at the direction of a professionally licensed surveyor
- Coordinate with review agencies, client, and sub-consultants
- Research regulatory requirements
- Assist primary project managers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets
- Some fieldwork as requested
- Other duties as assigned.
