Position Overview : The Bridge and Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bridge and heavy civil construction projects, from initial planning through to completion. This role involves managing site operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring safety and quality standards, and leading a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Oversight : Manage and supervise daily operations on bridge and heavy civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Team Leadership : Lead and coordinate a team of construction workers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Site Management : Oversee site activities, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, and finishing work, ensuring efficient and safe execution of tasks.
- Safety Compliance : Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and meetings to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control : Monitor work quality to ensure that construction meets engineering specifications and industry standards, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
