As we expand our team in line with business demand, we are looking for a smart, entrepreneurial professional to take on a new role and lead the firm’s global social media strategy, working to enhance our brand and drive commercial growth through marketing and communications.
The ideal candidate will possess 10 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and driving measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy that aligns with Blackstone’s overall business objectives and enhances our brand presence worldwide.
Lead the social media team, providing clear direction, mentorship, and fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Stay informed about global social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices, ensuring Blackstone remains at the forefront of the industry.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in business units and legal and compliance to drive alignment with business priorities and ensure compliance
Content and Campaign Management
Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, social-first content across all social media channels that captures attention and matches the platform’s look-and-feel
Plan, execute, and analyze social media campaigns, leveraging data and insights to optimize performance and achieve key metrics.
Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all global social media platforms.
Community Engagement and Relationship Building
Manage and grow Blackstone’s social media communities, fostering meaningful interactions and engagement with our audiences.
Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and strategic partners to cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence in how we approach social media
Monitor and manage potential risks and crises on social media, developing and executing effective response strategies.
Analytics and Reporting
Work with the research and analytics team to leverage track, measure, and report on social media performance and ROI.
Analyze data to gain insights into audience behavior, preferences, and trends, using these insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
Regularly present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, demonstrating the impact of social media efforts on business objectives.
Qualifications:
7 years of experience building and overseeing large social media programs for brands and their people
Proven track record successfully executing social strategies and demonstrating ROI to internal stakeholders
Deep industry knowledge around best practices on social, digital culture and trends, and an innate curiosity for how it shapes marketing and communications
Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and tools.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal skills and creative sensibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience in the financial services or similarly technical and regulated industries is a plus

Expected annual base salary range:
$200,000 - $275,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
