You Have:
- 8 years of experience serving as a solution architect, building large-scale enterprise solutions, integrating disparate technologies, implementing security controls, ensuring high availability, multiple tenancy, and network design, and monitoring network security and performance
- 5 years of experience working with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with AWS cloud-native network and solutions, including VPC, Transit Gateway, VPC FlowLogs, PrivateLink, Direct Connect, DNS, Load Balancing, Security Groups, and ACLs
- Ability to articulate complex cloud concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to create technical artifacts, including logical and physical network diagrams, technical specifications, and system installation procedures
- Ability to analyze requirements, and design, implement, and operate highly available and scalable firewall and network security solutions in cloud environments
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS or IT
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliance Certification within 30 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
- 5 years of experience with DoD or intelligence community Cloud engineering
- 5 years of experience with firewall, network security, or network monitoring solutions, including leading firewall vendors such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, or ASA
- Experience architecting Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, CISA Maturity Model, or DoD Zero Trust Strategy
- Experience with software-defined network and WAN solutions
- Experience with network monitoring and security solutions for containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Knowledge of network security concepts, including packet capture, intrusion detection, encryption in transit, break-and-inspect, OSI model, TCP/IP, IPSec, TLS, and modern encryption algorithms
- Knowledge of cloud-native and 3rd party network solutions to protect information hosted in Cloud providers, including AWS and Microsoft Azure, IDS, IPS, web application firewalls, and application delivery solutions such as F5-BIG IP, Citrix ADC, and NGINX
- Top Secret clearance
- Security , CISSP, CCSP, CCNA, AWS Certified Advance Networking - Specialty, or any GCP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
