The Opportunity:
As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Services performance.
As a member of the Accounts Receivable Commercial Collections Team, you will be responsible for managerial, analytical, auditing, and development tasks related to implementing collection strategies, setting targets, and monitoring performance, assessing risk, ensuring policy compliance, preparing, and presenting reports, and addressing high-visibility, impactful collections issues. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
How You’ll Contribute:
Formulate and execute effective strategies to enhance the collection of outstanding debts.
Oversee the training and management of a subset of the collections team.
Set performance targets for the collections team and monitor their progress.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential areas of concern.
Ensure all collection activities adhere to internal and external policies.
Prepare and present detailed reports on collection activities and the status of accounts receivable.
Address discrepancies and resolve billing issues with customers.
Handle a portfolio high-level, high visibility collections account.
Communicate effectively with leadership to align collection strategies with overall business objectives.

You Have:
7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections
Experience in leading people, processes, and systems
Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to identify and drive process improvements
Ability to analyze and implement policies and procedures
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Costpoint
Knowledge of insurance carrier collections and commercial client collections
Ability to strategically evaluate business processes
Possession of analytical and critical thinking skills
Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
