As a contracts management professional, you’re eager to support both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle in your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison with the government. As a federal acquisition management professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country’s defense acquisition and contract processes. 

On our team, you’ll manage pre-award contract administration for the program office, analyze requirements, and support the drafting of acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Justification and Approvals, Performance Work Statements, and Contract Line-Item Number structures. You will also advise on emergent post-award contractual issues and track pending and active contract actions. You will be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll grow your acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From working with your team, to building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, to obtaining concurrence, you’ll work to deliver meaningful contract support.

You Have: 

• 7 years of experience in DoD or DoN contract development and management

• Experience drafting pre-award acquisition documents, including Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Statements of Work, and RFP package documents and post-award contract management documents, including contract modifications or technical instructions

• Experience supporting market research efforts such as Request for Information (RFI) and managing Industry Days

• Experience assisting in defining and refining technical requirements such as schedules and risks for inclusion in acquisition documents

• Experience supporting the development of programmatic inputs to leadership briefs and for external organizations

• Knowledge of contract types, section structure, and fee structures

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience as a FAC-COR Level II, Contracting Officer, or Contract Specialist

• Experience supporting the Navy or Department of Defense

• Experience in Agile contracting

• Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
