Critical Technology Assessment Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Designs and implements new technologies, systems, and processes to improve plant production and efficiency. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience with engineering in Defense Critical Technology sectors, including Kinetic Capabilities, such as Hypersonics, Munitions, and Directed Energy, Energy Storage and Batteries, Castings and Forgings, Microelectronics, Critical Chemicals and Minerals, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Rare Earth Elements, Critical Materials, or Space Technologies

• Experience performing technical and business assessments of critical technology manufacturing or production capability development and their potential benefits, costs, technology barriers, policy, and regulatory approval requirements

• Experience with Defense or U.S. Government needs in critical technology sectors, industry providers meeting those needs today, and industry members meeting those needs in the future

• Experience developing and presenting briefings and assessment reports to senior DoD stakeholders

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience working for Senior DoD officials

• Experience providing technology analysis to DoD programs making investments in DIB capability expansion

• Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
