As a data engineer on our Law Enforcement team, you’ll learn and apply innovative data science methodologies to make a real-world impact to support our law enforcement partners.

You Have:  

• 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL design, implementation, and management
• 1 years of experience coding or scripting in high-level languages such as Python
• Knowledge of Regular Expressions (RegEx), JSON, and XML
• Knowledge of HTTP and web traffic basics
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience designing and implementing data pipeline automation processes
• Experience with the Python dependencies Datetime, JSON, Pandas, OS, Argparse, and Hashlib
• Experience with the Splunk Enterprise
• Experience with Cribl
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities based on mission needs
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Possession of excellent planning and organization skills

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
