We’re looking for someone like you with the skills and experience to build complex cloud-based systems, modernize legacy applications, and migrate to cloud platforms from vision to production ready
system.

As a software engineer on our team, you'll work with other developers, DBAs, and data analysts to overcome your customer's most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like serverless functions, event-driven processing, microservices, domain driven design, Single Page Application Frameworks alongside open-source frameworks and tools like .NET core, React and Node.js. You'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques, while helping to identify and implement system improvements. Using Agile lifecycle development, C#, JavaScript and Azure Cloud services you’ll build complex cloud-based platforms. You’ll code and deliver the solution that supports the current architecture and operating environment, as well as drive future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

• 2 years of experience with front-end and back-end application development in cloud environments

• Experience developing with Databases

• Experience with programming and developing applications in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, React, C#, .Net, or .Net Core

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies

• Experience with best practices for software design and development

• Knowledge of web services, including REST application programming interfaces

• Knowledge of Source Control and DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps or Git

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements 

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience developing with cloud SDKs such as Azure SDK for .NET

• Experience working with OAuth2/OIDC authentication workflows

• Master's degree preferred; Doctorate degree a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
